Annapurna Base Camp Trekking

Annapurna Base Camp TrekkingAbout Annapurna Base Camp trek
Annapurna Base Camp Trek is one of the most stunning trekking holiday regions in the world. The trek surprises you with its exotic beauty on each footstep! The name 'Annapurna' means copious of food in Sanskrit. As the name suggests, ABC trek guarantees you nothing but fun, pleasure and a deep insight about the natural and cultural heritages of the tiny Himalayan Kingdom of Nepal.

The trek commences from fussy Kathmandu, from where we drive to Pokhara. Annapurna Base Camp begins with the river bank of the Modi River and keeps changing the settings as you climb uphill. The landscapes keep transforming from the river bank to the thick forest and lush green paddy fields.

As the trail passes, we will be spending a night in Ghorepani; where we spend a night and follow a morning hike to Poon Hill (3210m). Poon Hill is especially renowned for great panoramic views of Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m), Mt. Nilgiri (7041m), Mt. Fishtail (6998m), Annapurna ranges, Mt. Hiunchuli (6441m), Lamjung Himal (6986m) and Tukuche peak (6920m). Next up, we follow our trek to beautiful Annapurna ranges again to Tadapani.
